This clip reveals [again] how Faux News has positioned themselves in the propagandizing gutter of American political news/noise and how they as an organization are openly unfair and unbalanced with an extreme neoconservative bias.
It was shown clearly with one question: Carl Cameron, the moderator, addressed Ron Paul and in a very smug way asked “another question about electability — do you have any? . . .your differences with the rest of the Republicans on this stage have raised questions about whether or not you can win the general Republican nomination sir.”
(Translation: You haven’t sold out like the rest of the candidates on this stage and that bothers those of us who have sold out, how do you expect a policy of honesty to get you elected?)
Let’s keep in mind also that the Faux debate team are supposed to be political experts that understand the political climate and know where the candidates stand and how people have voted in the elections. As of right now Ron Paul has more delegates than Giuliani or Hunter, and more total votes from Iowa and New Hampshire than Giuliani, Hunter, and Thompson!
Who should really be questioned about their electability? The man snickering in the background [Mr. 911] whenever Paul speaks might be a good choice.
Paul’s response was great and displayed exactly why they kept him out of the New Hampshire debates—he exposes them for the irresponsibly inaccurate, disrespectful, big government-loving, Bill of Rights tramplers that they are.
“You’re suggesting the Republicans should write me off because I’m a strict Constitutionalist?. . .I’m the most conservative member here, I have voted against more spending and waste in government than anyone else. So you’re suggesting that I’m not electable and that the Republicans don’t want me because I’m a strict fiscal conservative and because I believe in civil liberties? Why should we not be defending civil liberties? . . . Let me see if I get this right, we need to borrow $10 billion from China, and then we give it to (Pakistani President Pervez) Musharraf, who is a military dictator who overthrew an elected government, and then we go to war, we lose all these lives, promoting democracy in Iraq. I mean what’s going on here? And you’re saying (I am) not appealing to Republicans?”

When FauxNoise replayed the debate tonight they cut to commercial and EDITED OUT — yes, they DID NOT SHOW — Ron Paul’s above answer to the electability question! How can you even call yourself a decent human being and like this anti-free speech, anti-free thought network? They censor and spin anything that threatens them and it’s a sickening suppression of truth.
I am reminded of a holocaust-era poem attributed to Pastor Martin Niemöller:
- First they came for the Communists, and I didn’t speak up,
- because I wasn’t a Communist.
- Then they came for the Jews, and I didn’t speak up,
- because I wasn’t a Jew.
- Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn’t speak up,
- because I was a Protestant.
- Then they came for me, and by that time there was no one left
- to speak up for me.
It’s time for anyone out there in this country with a soul left to wake up.

Tonight was the dirtiest I’ve seen Fox News. We should all take this personally, even if we dislike Ron Paul. They are blatantly spinning everything at this point, and they’re banking on the American viewers being too dumb to notice or too bored to care. Cover the damn news!!
I LOVE YOU RON PAUL! You are courageously standing up for justice, truth and righteousness. You have so much integrity and you are an example to all who care about America and who care about what’s right. You tell the truth whether it’s popular or not, whether you are amongst friends or amongst traitors and fools — like at tonights Fox debate. There are a million aspiring Ron Paul’s now, your example has changed (and will continue to change) the world.
Carl Cameron…how can you call yourself a journalist? Hannity and Luntz we’ve kind of gotten used to their being fools…now you want to be known as a bozo too?
The crap you pulled last night was an indication of how low we have sunk in this country. Blatant, childish and low blow, all Fox trademarks.

Dr. Paul, I was praying and thinking about what is going on with the debates/elections and how you are handling all this so well as the MSM and other candiates are reacting so violently to you and your message, and my thoughts went to Noah, Jonah and John the Baptist as they proclaimed the truth and warned the people, I feel God is using you to tell the truth and it is up to us as well as the politicians to listen and heed the warning. If they chose not to it will be a sad day and the day of reckoning will come upon us. I pray for you and your family that God will strengthen you and protect you and that Americans will hear the truth and respond accordingly.

Yeah! They did some pretty funny stuff over at comedy central and colbert report, too. But a whole network that is all Simpsons all the time. Wow! A cartoon world populated with real people. Some must find it entertaining given the ratings but it’s not news and barely newsworthy.

I actually think that Ron Paul’s performance was incredible … just think about it … those asshats at Fakes News were trying to make him seem so different , which is completely fine , but what is more important in that is it showed how much alike all the other candidates were … hance any sensible american watching could see that there is a viable option in voting for Ron Paul in the S.C. Primary ….

Exactly T Heins, I think they dig themselves into a deeper hole every time they use dirty tactics like this against Dr. Paul. It only makes his support base grow and become more committed to his message. The other candidates don’t even have half the class, integrity, and wisdom that Paul has.
Even people who don’t support Ron Paul should be extremely concerned about the state of our democratic system when major news outlets are openly censoring political debates like they did here–apparently cutting out 16 minutes from what Ron Paul said during the re-air of the debates!
I’m with ‘NcWidow 4 Dr. Paul’ up there, and will keep praying for Ron Paul and for our country.

My husband and I were watching the debate and the question directed to Paul on his electability ticked us off. I really hope that the majority of individuals watching saw how fake Fox News represents itself. They hide the truth and express lies. They should have asked that question to Guiliani and asked if he would control his spitting problem.

Agreed, we need action but I plan to do both. We need all the help we can get. I join with James Madison who stated in the Federalist Papers:
“It is impossible for the man of pious reflection not to perceive in it [the Constitution] a finger of that Almighty hand which has been so frequently and signally extended to our relief in the critical stages of the revolution.”
I will continue to seek help from the hand of Providence in the critical stages of this revolution.

Why do these FauxNoise guys walk into it time and time again? – they put out their snide smart-mouth digs at Ron Paul, who just slaps them down for the idiots they are. Are they ignorant? or just masochistic? It indeed is a mystery.
How much angry energy have supporters spent telling a profit-driven media corporation that it is self-centered, greedy, unfair, and crooked? How much time have we spent trying to figure out why they do it?
