Ventura, Nader, & Jones on the “Two-Party Dictatorship”

After having witnessed the 2008 “election” process, it was clear that there was indeed a combination of power working against any voice that fell out outside of the accepted talking points. Even certain ideas that are contained within the Republican platform were off-limits when it came to the presidential “debates” and such ideas were marginalized and often ridiculed. Whether it is an orchestrated stifling of dissenting opinions or merely the symptom of a closed-minded national group philosophy or both, the result is the same. The U.S. is heading one direction, regardless of the party in power: Less freedom and privacy for the individual, more government, war and economic turmoil. It will take a massive awakening in hearts and minds to change this.

Mitt Romney Endorses Ron Paul

Okay, Romney didn’t actually endorse Ron Paul — but he might as well have. In this interview with Mark Larsen on The Morning Magazine show out of Tampa Bay Romney basically says (in so many words): “I am part of the corrupt political elite. I will not do anything to fix the problems in this country, but I might make them worse — at the very least I will continue with our failed policies. Everyone should vote for Ron Paul instead of me or any of the other candidates.”

Ron Paul Will Finish Top Three in Iowa

This according to the final GOP Power Rankings in today’s Iowa Independent:

Ron Paul – Rival campaigns are beginning to nervously speculate that Paul will finish in the top three on January 3. Paul broke double digits in at least two polls for the first time this week and he seems particularly strong in areas of the state where the media has less of an impact on political deliberations — especially in rural northwest and southern Iowa. Check out a Ron Paul supporters’ websites and you’ll see detailed discussions about caucus rules and strategy. The Paulites are more ready for caucus night than most observers realize.

I don’t put a lot of stock in the polls — especially considering the underestimating and undercounting they’ve done of Ron Paul’s supporters — but this is still great news!
