Queen Michelle Obama Has 26 Taxpayer-Funded Assistants

If you pay taxes then you are paying for Michelle Obama’s servants, er, “assistants”.

Forget the fact that we are in the midst of the worst economy since the Great Depression. Forget that there is record national debt, and ignore the high unemployment and suffering amongst the common people. Because Michelle Obama needs 26 assistants at our expense–a bill that works out to more than $1.7 million dollars per year!

Remember, “First Lady” is not a political office–she is not entitled to any assistants. In fact, First Ladies of the past had to pay their assistants out of their own pockets! (I am not referring to Laura Bush here–she had a taxpayer-funded staff as well. But hers only cost us a “mere” $1+ million of wasted money per year.)

Apparently all of the new jobs from the economic stimulus packages were created inside of the White House.

A change to foreign policy and an end to our needless wars could cover the cost of health care for the elderly and poor.

But instead, Obama’s proposal is a bureaucratic, government solution to a problem created by the government in the first place and it will only make things worse. The Swine Flu Hoax: Governments Scare People to Justify Power-Grabbing

We have been bombarded with mainstream “news” stories this last week about a Swine Flu pandemic, with hundreds or thousands dead (all of which turned out to be lies!).

We also heard about the possibility of martial law being used to quarantine U.S. cities and to force mandatory inoculations on the citizenry — never mind that during all of this hysteria there were no calls from those people to close down the border with the country which supposedly was the source of the “outbreak”.

Lets not forget that at the height of this artificial panic Obama moved to give 1.5 billion dollars to friends in the big pharma/medical industrial complex to combat the Swine Flu (a virus which many scientists and doctors are saying could only have been manufactured in a laboratory).

There were also top globalists that called the Swine Flu fears good for world government. It’s the same old story: governments use (or manufacture) a crisis, then pose as the savior while implementing a “solution” that takes away freedoms from the general population while magically making those in control more powerful and more rich.

The “War on Swine Flu” turned out to be like everything else governments lie about to steal power and money — a scam. But the fact that it was so universally hyped by governments and media — as if it was an exercise to psychologically prepare the masses — is not only suspicious, it’s is a very bad sign for what the future may hold when the next “crisis” comes around.

Alright, this was hard for me to watch all the way through. I’m already tired of all the false promises, half truths, and complete lies spewed during the DNC and I’ve only watched about 5 minutes of the PBS coverage. The high-point in this video is where Pat Buchanan notes that the Ron Paul gathering in Minnesota is the only convention where one is likely to hear any accurate, relevant, critical commentary on the current administration. It doesn’t seem to be coming from the Democrats. (With the exception of Kucinich of course.)

Airforce Times is reporting that Ron Paul continues to lead all presidential candidates in campaign contributions from the military (as he has since 2007). This is not surprising given the way military personnel (along with the rest of the country) have been lied to and manipulated about the reasons for the Iraq war and about the war on terror in general.

From January 2007 through March of this year, service members or civilian employees of the military donated at least $766,000 to presidential candidates, according to data made available April 20 and provided by the Center for Responsive Politics, a nonprofit research group in Washington.

The analysis included donations of at least $200 made by individuals who listed their employer as one of the four branches of the military — Army, Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps — or the Coast Guard, National Guard, Army Air Force Exchange Service, armed forces or military.

These donors gave the largest amounts to Rep. Ron Paul, the long-shot Republican candidate from Texas who has acknowledged defeat in the nomination process but continues to campaign, and Sen. Barack Obama, the Democrat from Illinois.

During the reporting period, Paul — a former Air Force surgeon who broke with his party to vote against the Iraq war — received the most military contributions, with $201,271.

That’s significantly more than the presumptive Republican nominee, Sen. John McCain from Arizona, who received $132,133 from military donors, according to CRP.

Ron Paul is Strongest Opponent of Real ID

The Real ID basically amounts to an illegal threat to our privacy, security and identity. The national ID card, potentially a forced replacement of your driver’s license, would track your every move, make you more susceptible to identity theft, and likely decrease national security. John McCain, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney and Rudy Giuliani want to help the HSD implement it.

[Ironically Hillary Clinton, John McCain, and Barack Obama each have had their private passport information accessed illegally by contractors working for the government.]

Real ID watchdog group The Visible Vote 08 has praised Ron Paul for his consistently strong opposition to the Real ID Act:

“(T)he strongest opponent of the Act among presidential candidates is Ron Paul, who has taken every opportunity to warn of the creation of a national ID card and the threat to individual privacy facing Americans as a result of enactment of Real ID… Ron Paul is the only presidential candidate who has consistently raised the issue of the Real ID Act in presidential debates this year.”

Visible Vote notes that Republican candidates John McCain, Mitt Romney and Rudy Giuliani all support the Real ID Act.

Why is there not a bigger outcry against the Real ID Act? Some of the details of the Act finally hit mainstream news this past week, but its definitely not a new piece of legislation.
