Ron Paul Smashes Donations Records, But He’s Not Done Yet

November 5th proved to be memorable for Ron Paul, who raised 4.2 million in the 24 hour period. This indeed breaks the John Kerry internet donations record of $3 million in 2004, as well as Mitt Romney’s $3.1 million one-day fundraising done earlier this year. The donations flowed into the Paul campaign at an astounding 165,000 dollars per hour yesterday.

With around 38,000 contributors nationwide participating in the “money bomb,” as it has been called, Ron Paul’s 4th quarter fundraising total has risen to $7.3 million so far, and there are nearly 2 months remaining. Plenty of time to reach the campaign goal of $12 million for the quarter.

But don’t think Ron Paul supporters are done yet—there is already grassroots plans for another “money bomb” on Veteran’s Day, the 11th of November now only 5 days away. A website has been created to build support and spread the word, called thisnovember11th.com.

Other important Ron Paul “money bomb” days on the horizon are December 15th (Bill of Rights Day) and December 16th (Boston Tea Party Protesting an illegal and repressive tax—which for us today is the federal reserve inflation tax).

  1. Sounds like he is really making some headlines. I hadn’t heard about him before your site. Interesting to see how much money they can raise in one day.

  2. Thanks for checking out the blog Stacey. Paul has a very devoted support base that has been consistently growing and hopefully will continue to grow exponentially. Definitely wouldn’t see this kind of grassroots support for a candidate like Hillary or Guiliani.

Check back in a day or two at the “Ron Paul” link at the top of the blog, we’ll be adding more resources and links to information about Paul’s consistent pro-Constitution voting record, his seeches, articles and positions on issues.

  3. very interesting, but I don’t agree with you
